Ask God to work through Urbana, a missions conference for 17- to 25-year-olds, to inspire a new generation of cross-cultural workers. Pray that the Christar team that’s participating will connect well with many young people who are interested in establishing churches in communities where they don’t yet exist.

Lift up the mobilizers participating in the Cross Con conference in early January. Ask the Lord to use their efforts to raise up more young people to serve among the least-reached.

Ask God to provide the funds needed for an aspiring worker to take a vision trip in the new year.  

Pray for endurance and skill for the Finance team as they’re busy with year-end activities such as the annual pre-audit.

Lift up several individuals who want to participate in Pre-Departure Orientation in January but need more pledged monthly support. Ask the Lord to meet their needs in His time.

Pray for discernment for the Christar U.S. director, Jim, as he manages numerous diverse projects at the end of the calendar year.

As we raise awareness about our new Church Ministry Residencies, ask God to bring host churches and recent graduates to participate, as well as financial partners eager to invest in the next generation of church planters.

Ask for wisdom for the Executive Team as they work on the 2026 budget.

Pray for those who will teach sessions at pre-field trainings in January, asking God to guide them as they prepare.

Pray for good rest for CMCUS staff members as most take time off at the end of December. Ask that each one would be refreshed and ready to minister effectively in the new year.
