Ep. 48 - The Messy Middle

Ep. 48 - The Messy Middle

Description
Have you ever been in the messy middle? It’s where you ask questions about whether to stay or go, what to do next or what changes to make now. For global workers, this is often a familiar place as transitions, strategizing, examining vision and restructuring after changes are all regular parts of global ministry. Sara shares with us some key points about the messy middle, transitioning well and how coaches can help. Join us to learn what a sabbatical entails as well as hear about resources that help workers chart next steps in global ministry.

Guest Bio
Sara Simmons is the founder and director of The Way Between. She sees vocational discernment and intentional sabbaticals as often-overlooked yet deeply needed seasons of care, development and personal transformation. She loves coaching, creating relevant resources and guiding ministry leaders through holistic pilgrimages that create space for reflection, renewal and discernment.

Sara has spent 11 years of her adult life living overseas and believes everyone would benefit from experiencing the beauty, challenges and perspective that come from cross-cultural living. She loves to bike, hike and eat her way around Denver, Colorado, where she lives with her husband, Jeff, and their two teenagers — or anywhere else in the world, for that matter.
