Jim MacArthur is the Board of Missions Director of the Bible Fellowship Church. He also has experience in cross-cultural ministry. So he knows both roles: He has been sent and now he is a part of the sending. Because of his life and ministry experience, he is in a perfect position to help us understand some of the expectations sending churches have of those they send as well as what global workers might expect from their sending churches. Jim shares the need for good communication and what healthy partnerships look like.

Jim MacArthur served as director of a camp in Suriname, oversaw the renovations of the Christar office in Reading, Pennsylvania, served as Christar's U.S. director and helped church-planting teams in Suriname and Southeast Asia. Jim also ministered as executive pastor of New Life Bible Fellowship Church in Oley, Pennsylvania and currently serves as the director of the Board of Missions of the Bible Fellowship Church.
