  1. Hinduism: A Brief Look at Theology, History, Scriptures, and Social System with Comments on the Gospel in India, by H.L. Richard, 2007. This short read summarizes Hindu scriptures and philosophies, provides a comprehensive glossary as well as discusses practical issues of relating with Hindus.
  2. Christian Barriers to Jesus: Conversations and Questions from the Indian Context, by J. Paul Pennington, 2022. Based on many interviews with Indian followers of Christ, this book identifies how Christian and church traditions can give Indians difficulty in coming to Jesus.
  3. Disciple Making Among Hindus: Making Authentic Relationships Grow, by Timothy Shultz, 2016. "Through moving personal stories, biblical reflection, and practical wisdom, Shultz introduces us to the centrality of family, the covenantal relationships that make up Hindu social life, and the yearning for authentic spiritual experience," according to this book's back cover.
